SLOUGH, BERKSHIRE, UK, April 25, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Following the huge success of the art festival commissioned by ‘HOME Slough’ as part of the ‘LOVE Slough’ festival, artists have put their works at auction. The public can bid on the artwork online (99worldtists.com/greatauction) or in person at the Love Slough Art Gallery at Queensmere Shopping Centre. In addition, the work is exhibited at the Gallery and in the windows of the shopping center.
The auction closing event will take place on April 30, 2022 at 4 p.m. All the artists will be present at the event, as well as local celebrities. After the closing event, the highest bidders can walk away with the artwork of their choice while providing much-needed funds to local charities.
Vineet Vijh, founder of 99 World Artists and The Slough Hub, said we’ve created a platform for Slough’s hidden talent to shine. Their mission was to create a positive and uplifting image of Slough and to lift the spirits of residents. I want to invite everyone to come support these amazing artists on April 30th.

About HOME Slough:
HOME Slough is more people choosing, creating and participating in brilliant artistic experiences in Slough.
Our aim is to help revitalize arts and culture in Slough, providing people with new and innovative opportunities to experiment and express their creativity. We want to make our city a more dynamic and creative place to live, work and visit.
Our programming is co-designed, co-commissioned and co-created with our Community Programming Board, an open group of residents and creatives.
We are a Creative People and Places program funded by Arts Council England and Slough Borough Council. We started working in the city in 2015 and the project will continue until 2025.

About creative people and places:
We are part of the Creative People and Places program initiated and funded by Arts Council England through the National Lottery. There are 33 independent projects, each located in an area where people have traditionally had fewer opportunities to engage in the arts. Creative People and Places projects have reached over 1.2 million people, 90% of whom do not regularly practice the arts.
