The popular Hertford Art Trail, which brings together local artists and street businesses, will return this spring.
The trail, organized by the City Council as part of the Hertford Arts Festival, attracts up to 40 talented artists to display and sell their work at a prime city center location over a month-long period.
Pop-up art venues, from bars and cafes to beauty salons, clothing retailers and gift shops, will operate as normal and should expect an increase in visitor numbers.

Any downtown business is welcome to apply for free to be part of the Hertford Art Trail and will need to allocate a designated area within the premises for the artist to exhibit.
The venue will also retain a 15% commission on each artwork sold and will be promoted through Art Trail advertising online and in print materials.
