Who doesn’t love a good internet challenge? We’re not talking about Tide pod tasting competitions, but about challenges that showcase humanity’s endless creativity and the true potential of digital art beyond dodgy NFTs.

Clinton Jones, a top VFX artist known on Youtube as Pwnisher, issued a challenge called “Infinite Journeys” and nearly 2,500 artists responded.

Using a simple animation of a moving vehicle provided by Clinton Jones and the “Infinite Journey” theme, 2,448 artists built and submitted a scene.

Pwnisher then rounded up the top 100 renders in the video you can see below and trust us, the magic within is unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

From cozy train cars with young people going on adventures to sad metaphors about aging and whimsical depictions of friends, this video has it all and in every animation style you can imagine. Leave us a timestamp below with your favorite!

We particularly liked Josse Boutanquoi’s work with the astronauts at 2:59 (timestamp) and Konrad Mannheimer’s alien tourist at 7:11.
