Nestled around a bend in a path or an opening in the trees, the artists painted the natural scenes in front of them.

The Center Nature Environnement opened its park on Tuesday 5 April to painters. It was the last of four days of painting for members of the SoCal Plein Air Painters Association before an upcoming fundraiser where their pieces will be for sale.

The Art of Nature: outdoor art exhibition and sale will take place on April 30 and May 1. Visitors will be able to observe certain artists finishing their works.

“Nature has always been a source of inspiration for artists, making the ENC the perfect place to present works of art that showcase the scenic beauty and rich diversity of nature,” said the director. ENC Executive, Bo Glover. “We are especially excited to have pieces painted at the ENC and our new location, the ENC Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary, on display.”
