
If you are a MotoGP fan, you have undoubtedly dreamed of owning one of these amazing racing bikes. On October 9-10, five MotoGP bikes will be auctioned off at the Bonhams to Stafford Autumn Sale as part of the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show at the Staffordshire County Showground, 25 miles north of Birmingham, England. Auctions can be conducted through the Bonhams website, over the phone or in person.
Aprilia MotoGP racing bikes are from the Phil Morris Road Racing collection and are from the efforts of the Paul Bird Motorsport team from 2012 to 2014. Since 2015, satellite teams have been renting motorcycles from factories, making it almost impossible to purchase. of a MotoGP bike because factories rarely sell their babies.
Here are the five MotoGP racing bikes for sale:

Michael Laverty scored a total of nine GP Championship points on this 2014 Aprilia PBM-ART from Paul Bird Motorsport. It’s a MotoGP specification, including racing carbon fiber disc brakes. It works and the estimated minimum selling price is £ 40,000.

This is Broc Parkes’ number one bike for the 2014 MotoGP campaign by Paul Bird Motorsport. Although the GPMS built chassis and Magneti Marelli electronics are included, the bike is not complete. Due to its condition, the bike could be bought for as little as £ 30,000.

This Paul Bird Motosport 2012 Aprilia ART MotoGP rider was ridden by James Ellison in 2012 and Yonny Hernandez the following year. The motorcycle is equipped with an Aprilia RSV4 street bike engine, computer and electronics. However, it is sold with the factory Aprilia engine, ECU, racing part and bodywork, allowing it to regain all its glory in MotoGP. Bonham estimates a minimum sale price of £ 40,000.

James Ellison, Yonny Hernandez and Michael Laverty all raced this Paul Bird Motosport Aprilia ART 2012 motorcycle. Ellison campaigned on this MotoGP bike in 2012, with Hernandez and Laverty sharing it in 2013. The racing bike has remained intact since its last race . Look for £ 30,000 as a minimum sale price.

The Broc Parkes rescue bike from the 2014 season features a 230 horsepower Aprilia factory-built RSV4 engine. This bike features carbon fiber bodywork, Öhlins fork, Paul Bird Motorsport exhaust system and FGR triple clamps. The ECU with the final data from 2014 is included, as well as the Magneti Marelli electronics. The motorbike is in running condition and is expected to sell for at least £ 40,000.

If you can settle for a Moto3 motorcycle ridden by a future MotoGP world champion, then take a look at this 2016 Leopard Racing KTM. While this isn’t the bike Joan Mir rode to the Moto3 title in 2017, Mir finished the year in P5. It was updated after Leopard Racing sold the bike and then reverted to 2016 specs when Phil Morris acquired it in 2020.
